Soft Serve, a recently renovated property located in the historic suburb of Rozelle in Sydney, stands as a striking example of how to seamlessly blend the old with the new. The design team at YSG was tasked with the challenge of retaining the property's original charm while infusing it with modern elements to create an ideal home for a family of four. The result is a harmonious combination of classic and contemporary, where the past and present coexist in perfect balance.

One of the most striking elements of the renovation is the use of the Akoya pendant by RBW. This hand-blown opal glass bulb and sheer, spun-aluminum shade lighting fixture exudes refinement and elegance, adding a touch of sophistication to the space. The choice of the Akoya is a testament to the design team's keen eye for detail and their ability to select the perfect elements to complement the property's aesthetic. The Akoya pendant serves as a beautiful center-piece, illuminating the space and drawing attention to the skillful blending of the old and new.
