In the world of lighting design, RBW's Crisp and Dimple stand out as iconic fixtures, each possessing a distinctive and enduring originality that transcends trends. The name 'Crisp' draws inspiration from the grooves meticulously molded into its solid glass shade, reminiscent of the delicate ruffles of a potato chip. These grooves not only add a subtle textural detail but also transform an otherwise minimalist design into a timeless masterpiece.
Dimple emerges as a compact and dimmable, wall and ceiling fitting, designed to cast a diffuse and soft atmospheric light. Crafted from solid-cast glass and an anodised aluminium backing, Dimple earns its name from the distinctive thick, domed circular diffuser embedded into its front face. This unique feature transforms the LED source into a soft, ambient glow, creating mesmerising orb-like patterns.
Originally envisioned to enhance the minimalist interiors of Manhattan’s Sister City hotel, Dimple's simple dome silhouette not only adds a touch of playfulness but also casts light in enchanting, orb-like patterns, truly making it a luminary work of art.
